Homework

The first resource that I found interesting and useful is called think port. http://www.thinkport.org/Classroom/onlineclips.tp
With this tool, I can show a quick clip or video to integrate with my lesson.

The second resource I found is called power point in the classroom.
http://www.actden.com/pp/
I really like this tool and believe it can be useful. I believe power point can be a very effective strategy if used correctly. Power point can provide graphs, videos, text and other awesome tools to reach out to the students.

The third resource I found is called classroom clip art.
http://www.classroomclipart.com/
This is an awesome resource and with it I can download or find pretty much any clip or picture I want relating to my subject area. It provides over 58,000 free clips!

Welcome to my blog

My name is Jeff Bennum. I was born and raised in Bellingham, Washington. I went to Meridian High school and graduated in 2000. I attended college at Western Washington University and played football there for a couple years. I transfered to UVSC in 2005 after marrying my wife Stacey who recently graduated from BYU.

I am a Physical Education major and plan on becoming a head football coach at the high school level and possibly college as well. I love sports, working with kids and have always wanted to coach football.
